We have an exciting new opportunity for a site based Electrical QA/QC Assistant to join our growing team on site in Amsterdam.

The Role:

Reporting to the QA Manager, you will be part of the current team responsible for inspection and handover of cable installations for a major Data Centre project.

My client is a market leading specialist electrical contractor that provides medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) cable installation, termination services, busbar, and containment solutions for a wide range of construction projects. Headquartered in Ireland, we deliver mission critical projects for a range of customers across Europe and beyond. Our expertise spans industry sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, renewables, power generation, critical infrastructure, and more.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with inspection of company works on cable install, termination and Glanding of LV and MV cables
  • Maintain inspection records of company works using bespoke company APP and BIM platforms
  • Liaise with Client / Electrical contractor on submission of QA Inspection records in a timely manner in line with yellow tag dates
  • Close out queries on equipment with company team and Client which may impact on the progress
  • Work with the QA and Construction team to implement corrective and preventative actions in line with snag lists from company bespoke QA App system
  • Work with the company construction team to communicate best practices, mock-ups, first of kinds to ensure consistent quality is achieved
  • Assist in completion of monthly and weekly QA audits and toolbox talks as required
  • Manage email and telephone communications as required
  • Ensure that QA activities are tracked to completion to achieve project deadlines

The Person:

  •  Experience in a similar role 
  • Self-motivated to ensure that project deadlines are achieved 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and at times pressurised environment 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail 
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings 
  • Ability to support, manage, lead and enthuse others
