Lead Electrical QA/QC roles - Europe

Our client, a market leading specialist electrical contractor that provides medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) cable installation, termination services, busbar, and containment solutions for a wide range of construction projects. Headquartered in Ireland, They deliver mission critical projects for a range of customers across Europe and beyond. Their expertise spans industry sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, renewables, power generation, critical infrastructure, and more.

Responsibilities...

• Complete inspection of works on cable install, termination and glanding
• Maintain inspection records of works using bespoke company APP
• Liaise with Client / Electrical contractor on submission of Quality Assurance Inspection records
• Close out queries on equipment with the team and Client which may impact on progress
• Work with the Quality Assurance and Construction team to implement corrective and preventative actions
• Work with the construction team to communicate best practices and mock-ups to ensure consistent quality is achieved
• Assist in completion of monthly Quality Assurance audits and toolbox talks as required
• Manage email and telephone communications as required
• Ensure that Quality Assurance activities are tracked to completion to achieve project deadlines

The Person...

• Qualified Electrician
• 3+ years experience working in a similar role
• Self-motivated to ensure that project deadlines are achieved
• Ability to work in a fast paced and at times pressurised environment
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
• Ability to support, manage, lead and enthuse others
