Logistics Professional – Interiors Fitout Projects

The Logistics Professional will hold a pivotal operational role in the successful delivery of logistics services across interior fit-out projects. The position is accountable for planning, coordination and control of product deliveries, and fit-out crew scheduling / activities, ensuring they are executed efficiently and in full alignment with project programmes.

Working in close partnership with senior management, Project Managers, and Sales / Account Management teams, the role supports both day-to-day operational excellence and the ongoing development of the logistics function. It combines strong hands-on logistics experience with commercial awareness, requiring an individual who can balance immediate delivery needs with longer-term performance improvement.  

This role is suited to an experienced logistics professional who is ready to take ownership of operational performance across multiple projects, while collaborating with existing leadership to shape and strengthen the overall logistics strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the coordination and execution of logistics activities across multiple projects, ensuring smooth delivery of product to site, and the efficient scheduling of fit-out crews.

• Develop and manage project-specific logistics plans in alignment with overall project programmes and operational requirements.

• Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure reliable delivery performance and maintain strong working relationships.

• Act as a key point of contact for logistics matters, supporting the resolution of delivery issues, supply risks and site constraints.

• Manage delivery scheduling and site coordination to ensure efficient sequencing.

• Support Project Managers and Sales / Account Management teams by providing accurate logistics input into project planning and execution.

• Contribute to reporting on delivery accuracy, supplier performance and crew efficiency.

• Identify opportunities for improvement in logistics processes, systems and workflows, and support the implementation of agreed enhancements.

• Support compliance with health & safety standards and ensure adherence to site logistics procedures.

• Maintain accurate logistics records, documentation and systems.

• Assist in managing logistics costs through effective planning, scheduling, and supplier and crew coordination.

Education

• Third-level qualification in Logistics. Supply Chain Management considered if combined with strong Logistics experience.

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.) and logistics software.
