Our Client are a leading Mechanical Services Contractor, Predominantly for Residential & Commercial Projects for the South East of Ireland. Due to growth and expansion, we are welcoming applications for a full-time permanent position of Operations Manager.

Are you a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager experienced in managing and overseeing the daily on-site operations of Mechanical Services for Residential or Commercial Projects, if so we want to hear from you. This role will involve close coordination with site teams of circa 30 - 40 and for the successful candidate to be clients' site representation. Projects are 60%-70% residential (50-100 houses / apartments per project) (30%-40% commercial) with circa 6 - 10 live projects going on at any one time. In this role you will work closely with the Senior Directors and will be fully supported by the office and senior management team. You will be responsible managing site operations with each foreman / contracts manager on each project reporting to you. Additionally, identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost reductions, as well as managing budgets and allocating project resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

•                    Manage and oversee daily on-site operations.

•                    Coordinate with site foreman and clients' site representatives to ensure smooth operations.

•                    Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost reductions.

•                    Manage budgets in collaboration with the office team, foremen and contracts managers to ensure project resources and materials are allocated effectively.

•                    Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

•                    Lead, mentor, and develop on-site operational teams.

•                    Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve productivity.

•                    Monitor and analyse performance metrics.

Company Services include; plumbing, heating, drainage, turnkey plantroom fit outs, ventilation, air conditioning, natural/tank gases, medical gases, building controls systems and all other areas aspects of mechanical fit outs.

Team; Circa 50 (30-40 service/installation team) Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Accountants, Administrators, Plumbers, Welders, Pipefitters, Skilled Laborers, Engineers and Apprentices

Experience, Qualifications and Personal Attributes

•                    Experience in a similar role

•                    Preferably a mechanical qualification to trade level or above

•                    Possess the qualities of a strong and committed team player with excellent interpersonal skills, communication and coaching skills with the ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with clients and with teams who perform / lead services

•                    Ensure Customer satisfaction

•                    Contribute to the delivery of all projects safely and on time

•                    Continual ongoing support for all clients and team members

•                    Working within budget and timeframes

•                    See to it that ongoing training for all operatives to ensure all is on par with ever changing industry standards
