Our client, a respected semi-state organisation, is seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to join their team based in Dublin, operating within a hybrid working model. This role will provide in-house cost management support across a diverse portfolio of developments, covering the full development lifecycle from early feasibility through to delivery asset management.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach to cost and viability management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare order-of-magnitude cost estimates and development budgets for early-stage residential projects.
  • Carry out viability assessments and detailed cost modelling analyses.
  • Support the procurement of design teams and construction delivery partners.
  • Liaise closely with external consultants, building strong collaborative working relationships.
  • Contribute cost, value engineering, procurement, and affordability input at design team workshops.
  • Manage development budgets and monitor post-contract expenditure.
  • Review and assess external quantity surveying reports, cost plans, and financial documents.
  • Maintain and enhance internal databases, documentation, and cost management processes.

Requirements

  • Degree or higher qualification in Quantity Surveying 
  • 10 years’ relevant experience with a PQS, or developer company.
  • Experience in conservation works (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Chartered status or actively working towards chartership (MSCSI / MRICS)
  • Based in Dublin and eligable to work
