SCADA Engineer - Power

My client, an international utilities power company, has an upcoming opportunity for an experienced SCADA Technical Engineer. Closing date for applications: Friday 16th January COB

Duties: SCADA, optimisation and innovation within renewables operations, spanning wind, battery storage, green hydrogen, and solar assets. Supporting the design, development and deployment of IT/OT systems for advanced data analytics and control, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge initiatives within the renewables sector. We’re seeking candidates who are passionate about renewable energy and thrive on problem-solving and innovation.

What you'll need

• Experience as a technical business lead in projects associated with SCADA, OT, automation system design, implementation and acceptance into operation.
• Experience in a similar role with responsibility for performance analysis and SCADA systems with associated project support and delivery.
• Experience and knowledge of Modbus TCP/IP, OPC UA, PLC/RTU Programming, Asset management systems such as Maximo, Aveva PI
• Working knowledge of cyber security policy & standards such as NIS2, IEC62443, NIST and Industrial Automation & Control Systems cybersecurity lifecycle management
• Broad based operational and technical knowledge of renewable assets (multi-platform, multi-OEM).
